From Monday 23rd April there will be two way signals in place on Severn Road north of Chittening Road in connection with an oil pipeline. The signals will be taken up and down each day for up to a week. Traffic management will not be in place until 09.00 to minimise the impact of the morning

A gas generating station is being developed at Rockingham. To support this development: a contractor (CM Utilities) is laying a gas main from Kings Weston Lane to Rockingham via the A403. a contractor (Western Power Distribution) is taking electricity cables from the sub station at Avonmouth Way, up Kings Weston Lane, Merebank Road and Poplar Way
Bristol Water and Western Power Distribution will be undertaking work for Clugston, the contractors for the Viridor plant, on Severn Road. We understand this work will commence once the Rockingham work has been completed and will take a couple of months. We will endeavour to keep you posted.
