At this month’s meeting…
Gil Woodward from Accolade Wines

Gil Woodward will introduce the work being done to enable Accolade Wines to become a leader in manufacturing and resource and energy efficiency.

A significant energy user, Accolade Wines is in the process of seeking planning permission for a wind turbine to generate some of its power needs from a renewable source.

Clean Earth and Argand Solutions are supporting this initiative.

GENeco’s Charlotte Stamper will share some circular economy ideas being explored with Accolade Wines.

There will be an opportunity to view the production floor from the gantry.

Eleanor Armstrong from Avonmouth C of E Primary School

Avonmouth Church of England Primary school welcomes children from nursery through to year six. Our vision is: ‘Inspired, Happy children, Learning for Life’. We work especially hard to make sure that children feel safe and happy at the school. We aim to provide children with a stimulating and exciting environment to learn.

We are keen to develop closer relationships with local businesses and are proud to be a SevernNet member.

We’re working on three projects during the Spring and Summer to install new willow fencing on the school field,  install new tower in the nursey garden with protected matting and install new playground equipment on the playing field.  If you think you’d like to be involved in these projects or help towards fundraising please let us know.
