“Supporting SevernNet Buzz makes recruiting new staff easier and improves retention rates. Overall it saves us money.”

Zoe Joyner, Nisbets Engagement Manager

SevernNet Buzz connects the villages of Lawrence Weston, Shirehampton and Avonmouth together with the transport hubs at Portway Park & Ride and Avonmouth Railway Station (buses and trains) with businesses in Cabot Park, Access 18, Avonmouth Way, Third and Fourth Way.

Concerned about local congestion? Challenges in recruiting staff? Staff retention? SevernNet Buzz may be able to help.

The current timetable (updated 12th March 2018 in response to user feedback) is below and can be downloaded here.  Are you a Buzz user? Create your own personalised timetable at catchthebuzz.co.uk

SevernNet Buzz provides local businesses with the opportunity to attract and retain staff, and improve staff engagement in a competitive labour market, by ensuring people can access their sites without needing to drive from Monday to Friday.

It can also help alleviate local congestion and on-site parking pressure by providing an alternative transport option.

Introducing Ticketless Travel

From 23rd of April 2018, SevernNet buzz passengers will be able to use the SevernNet Buzz app instead of their travel card. This is easier and more reliable for both employers and your colleagues because it means:

  • Less travel card administration*
  • Reliable reporting
  • Quick and easy boarding.

Brought to you by Esoterix Systems and Urban Things working with Wessex Bus and SevernNet.

For travellers:
It’s super fast and easy. To board the bus, simply open the ‘SevernNet buzz’ app, scan the orange Hex Tag on the bus and show the code to the driver. Download and use the app before 4th May to be entered into a draw to win a £40 Showcase Cinemas Bristol gift card.

You’ll need to have the login details for your SevernNet buzz account when you sign into the app.

If you’ve got questions or need some help, there will be people on the bus on 23rd April to help you. There will also be a wifi hotspot that day, so the data is free.

Download the ‘SevernNet buzz’ app today from the Google Play Store or the App Store.
