We have been notified by National Highways that the M4 will be closed between J21 and J23 westbound – including the Prince of Wales Bridge – tonight.
The closure will be in place from midnight until approximately 0300hrs and is required to install additional safety barriers following an incident earlier today.

During the closure, traffic from the SevernNet area will need to divert via the northbound M5, M4 and M48 Severn Bridge to access South Wales.
