Gipsies Platt bridleway will be closed for improvement works from Monday 20 July 2020 until around mid November 2020. The plan below indicates the closure and the diversionary routes. You can also download it here.

This work is part of the work to put in place the SGC01 walking and cycling route running from Cribbs Causeway to Severn Beach.

Work on the bridleways that have been closed on the southern side of the A403 has now been completed and are expected to be reopened today (Fri. 17th July 20).

SGC01 is part of the Avonmouth Severnside Walking & Cycling Routes project funded by Highways England in partnership with S. Glos. Council, Sustrans, SevernNet and Bristol City Council.
