The latest update from the Project Team is a good news story:
- The site compound has been built, and its been surfaced to reduce the risk of mud spread
- The ecologists have confirmed that its OK to commence the site clearances, whilst minimising impact on the local ecology
- The project is on target to commence the main works in September 2025 with the specialist contractors required “on board”
- It is anticipated that the road should be opening in summer 2026
Work is also well underway on the Traffic Regulation Orders (TROs) which will be required to enable free-flowing of traffic to/from the junction and across Western Approach Industrial Park. More on this in the coming months.
