Notes:
(i)
National Highways (NH) need to replace the bridge joint on the M5 Avonmouth A4 to M5 link bridge. To fit the joint safely NH need to close the bridge for a full weekend to enable them to fit the joint. Please see details in (ii) below.
NH will also resurface the bridge deck entry point, renew lining and studs and replace the kerbing. This part of the work will take place overnight when traffic flows are at their lowest and NH will complete noisiest works before 11pm where possible.

18 to 20 January – 8pm to 6am overnight closures – During the day the link bridge will be open as usual
21 to 23 January – full weekend closure – 8pm Friday 21 to 6am Monday 24 January
24 to 28 January – 8pm to 6am overnight closures – During the day the link bridge will be open as usual
During the closures a diversion route will be in place via Portway roundabout, the A4 and Crowley Way roundabout.
