Onroute Truckstop’s Avon Lodge invites you to join them for September’s Business Breakfast.
We have an exciting programme lined up for you, including a ‘Build-a-Bap’ breakfast. You can choose from a number of fillings, together with Lavazza coffee to help start your day.
There’s also a bike clinic if you’d like a tune up; and local guest speakers!
The agenda will include:
- Oxford Instruments Plasma Technology – local manufacturer with a key to sustainability globally
- The Real Wrap Company – telling us about their rapid growth in Avonmouth
- Avon Lodge Truckstop and its important role in the area. It’s not just a Truckstop!
- Mabanaft, Onroute Truckstop’s parent; and their fuels innovation including ammonia and hydrogen
We are delighted to welcome The Real Wrap Company and Oxford Instruments Plasma Technology who will be joining us to talk about their organisations, how they are evolving locally and supporting the local economy.
We’ll also talk about the local challenges across Portbury Avonmouth Severnside (PAS) in providing sufficient and accessible lorry parking; access to good quality catering facilities available to the workforce; and the need for more travel hubs supporting sustainable travel.
There’ll also be an update on the progress of the bid to fund a Local Industrial Decarbonisation Plan (LIDP) for a West of England Industrial Cluster with PAS as its hub; and Mabanaft, OneRoute Truckstop’s parent company, will be sharing the innovative work they are doing to decarbonise fuels for tomorrow, including around ammonia and hydrogen.
