  • Learning more about Severnside Carbon Capture & Shipping Hub
  • Hearing from Ramboll about their approaches to sustainability

To celebrate 100 years of the railway coming to Severn Beach, this year the SevernFest is bigger and better!
This is all about people and business coming together. Peter Tyzack and Nick Davies will be discussing how to get involved. You can find out how here.

  • Severnside Music Festival is on the 13th July: two stages with music, bands and DJs from 3pm til dusk

7CO2 is developing a carbon capture and shipping hub at Avonmouth Docks, to enable large scale industrial emitters with hard to abate emissions to access carbon capture and storage. Carbon captured by emitters may be piped or railed to the docks, where it can be liquified, stored and loaded onto ships for transport to permanent geological storage, or used in alternative applications such as the production of efuels.

7CO2’s Keith Birch will be telling us more, including how 7CO2 is already working with a range of local industrial businesses and project partners; and the likely scope for more local partnership opportunities as the project progresses over the next 2-3 years.

The team from Ramboll will be sharing case studies from their work across Bristol working with businesses seeking to decarbonise and enhance their sustainability.

We’ll also be discussing opportunities to work together to improve options for public transport and lorry parking across Severnside.

Come along, join the discussion, and find out more.
We look forward to seeing you on May 23rd
