After taking a pause during Lockdown, On Your Doorstep is back. We are taking as many steps as possible to ensure that all copies of the magazine will be handled by as few people as possible.
Autumn is just around the corner and there are many exciting projects happening in Lawrence Weston. We would like to offer you the opportunity to submit an article in Lawrence Weston’s most read community publication, ‘On Your Doorstep’ Autumn 2020 edition.
On Your Doorstep wouldn’t exist without your input So I ask you, if you have something you wish to see in the next issue, if you have an event or an organisation you wish to promote, that would benefit the residents of Lawrence Weston? Please, let me know.
We aim to ensure the Lawrence Weston community receive their copy of On Your Doorstep at the beginning of October 2020 so the DEADLINE for articles and advertisements is on the 24th September AT 1pm.
PLEASE ENSURE YOU SUBMIT THE ARTICLES BY THE DEADLINE AS ARTICLES OUTSIDE THE DEADLINE MAY NOT BE INCLUDED.
The format of submitted articles must be under 200 words and/or 2 pictures. The text can be submitted in Word document or a wordpad document and the pictures must be in Jpeg or GIF format. Please try not to use PDF, as it makes it difficult for me to work my magic.
Due to the high cost involved in producing and delivering the newsletter quarterly, we do ask a fee of £40 per advertisement/article to those organisations who have a budget for advertising to contribute to the continuity and sustainability of the newsletter in the future. (We will contact you on how it is payable on submission of your article). However, if you are a small group and don’t have a budget contact us as we may be able to submit your article at a reduced or nil cost provided that there is space left.
