During the February half term, from Saturday 19 – Sunday 27 February, Network Rail will be:

  •  renewing track and signalling equipment on the Filton relief lines between Stapleton Road and Lawrence Hill stations
  • refurbishing drainage between Montpellier and Sea Mills stations, and through Clifton Tunnel
  • changing signalling ready for the new station at Portway Park & Ride and building foundations for the platform
  • replacing wooden railway sleepers between Bristol Port level crossing on King Road and St Andrew’s Road station in Avonmouth

Work completed during this period is helping to keep the railway safe and reliable, as well as bringing a new railway station for the Severn Beach line a step closer.

During this period a replacement bus service will be in operation as per the diagram below. Check before you travel: www.nationalrail.co.uk or www.GWR.com/Bristol.
