Bristol City Council’s traffic signal maintenance contractor will be completing repairs to the traffic signal detection overnight from 19:00 on Weds.12th August to 07:00 on Thurs. 13th August 2020.
It is anticipated that the work can be completed during this time. If the problem is not fixed it may be necessary to return for further works.
At present the loops within the carriageway are not detecting vehicles. This is causing a timing issue at the traffic signal junction. These works should fix the detection problem, which means all vehicles will be detected and a demand created correcting the timing.
The working area will be on Kings Weston Lane on the approach to the traffic signals with St Andrews Road. No works will take place on St Andrews Road at this time.
