As an environmentally sensitive and low lying coastal community, addressing the climate and ecological emergency is urgent.
We are working to support our local authorities Race to Zero by 2030; and build upon our natural, social and economic resources.
Travel & Transport
Portbury Avonmouth Severnside benefits from a deep water port, excellent motorway and rail links, and proximity to markets with 67% of the UK population within 250km.
Despite a decade of effort, travel and transport into and across the area for many colleagues and neighbours remains a major challenge.
Employment & Skills
Addressing the employment and skills gaps across Portbury Avonmouth Severnside are a high priority.

On the 3rd of each month, at 15:00, the Severnside Sirens are tested; and can be heard all across the area.
