The SevernNet Health and Safety Peer to Peer networking group is for Health and Safety specialists across the area.  The group is facilitated by SevernNet and is being developed by several local businesses including Siniat, Elemis, The Bristol Port Company and Accolade Wines. The group’s purpose is to enable information exchange, learning and peer support.

CHEP hosting next Health and Safety Peer to Peer Group

Nick Phillips (Site Manager) at CHEP, Western Approach Industrial Park,  will be hosting our next Health and Safety Peer to Peer Network on Wednesday 5th April 2017 from 09:30 until 12:00.


The session will include:

  • an overview of the CHEP site, what they’re doing and a tour of the site. Please bring your own PPE if you can, particularly your own safety shoes.
  • An update from Bond Dickinson (Stephen Panton) on managing Contractors/Supply Change Risks and Effective Health and Safety Governance (which requires a joined up approach between those responsible for compliance, HR and procurement functions)
  • Plenty of time to exchange information on current challenges, opportunities, training etc.
