Avonmouth to The Lamplighters

3 miles return – 1 hour (circular)

Note: The route doesnt appear on google so instead navigate to here from Avonmouth to find the start.

A leisurely walk or cycle from Avonmouth to The Lamplighters pub through Lamplighter’s Marsh Local Nature Reserve. Get views of the Avon river and any wildlife that may pass you by!

Lawrence Weston to Route 41

3 miles – 1 hour (circular)

Suitable for a walk run or cycle, this takes you past allotments fields and water channels popular with water voles! There’s plenty of windturbies too!

The track is easy to folloow and eventually you will reach the industrial park when you can turn back.

Avonmouth Station to Lawrence Weston Community Farm

2.5 Miles, 1 hour (return by bus or on foot)

Please note, due to construction work you now need to make a diversion onto Longcross for part of this route.

This route follows the quiet roads behind Avonmouth and leads into Lawrence Weston after crossing The Portway roundabout using the Toucan crossing.

You then walk a short way on Avonmouth rd, turn left onto Barack’s Ln and join the Lawrence Weston Greenway, which Is a great traffic free walk with lots of green spaces. You then follow the Greenway all the way to the farm, taking care when crossing Kings Weston Ln. keep an eye out for side tracks to explore.
